Il Borgo di Mattia is a small hamlet of renovated stone farmhouses in the locality of San Sabino in the municipality of Cerreto di Spoleto (PG) — at 650 meters above sea level, among the woods and clearings of the Valnerina.
Six houses, each with its own name: Carpino, Olmo, Ginestra, Mandorlo, Ciliegio, and Quercia. Il Borgo is a good starting point for exploring the valley: about 25 minutes from Norcia, 30 from Spoleto, 15 from rafting on the Nera River, and 25 from the Sellano Tibetan Bridge — the longest in Europe — with the Sibillini Mountains within hiking distance.
